I'm a paediatric physiotherapist who has worked across private practice, state schools, and special schools. And now, the founder of Inclusive Spaces Co.
Years of walking into classrooms taught me something most people outside education never see: the teachers want the best for every student, with or without disability or learning needs. That's obviously not the problem. The problem is nobody ever gave them the support to know how to understand a child's physical or developmental needs and turn that into a room, a routine, or a plan that actually works.
Teachers are trained to teach curriculum. They were never meant to understand or assess a child's sensory or physical needs. A teacher can see when a student can't sit, can't focus, can't keep up physically - what they were never shown is what to do about it.
So I made it my mission to show and help teachers , not just the ones I work in. That mission became Inclusive Spaces Co.: classroom environments redesigned around how kids actually move and regulate, movement programs/ activities built for real classrooms, and the training to give your teachers genuine confidence, not just a compliance tick, in supporting students with or without a disability.
